About The Club
The Brookline Spanish club is looking to build from it's successful first meeting, which occurred on October 2nd and had 20 attendees. The club is for residents who have Latino/Hispanic or Spanish descent and also for those who have an interest or passion for Spanish language and culture. Members of the Brookline Spanish Club will aim to create a bilingual environment and put together a calendar of events where they can get together and converse, participate in social events and community activities and meet other Spanish speaking residents. The only requirement for membership is an interest in Latino or Spanish culture.
More than 35 million people identified themselves as Hispanic or Latino on the 2000 Census. |
